Salvatore Romeri

WORSHIP DIRECTOR

Nicknames: Sal, Salad, Saliva, Salt, Sallelujah | Enneagram: 4w3 | APEST: Shepard | Spouse: Alejandra Romeri

Background: I was born and raised in south San Diego, and have lived here for the majority of my life as the youngest of three siblings. I came to know Christ in my early years of high school, and not long after, grew a fondness for Jesus. I came to know Him and His name even more so proclaimed in the form of prayer or a song. I moved to Sydney, Australia after high school and served with Hillsong Church for a few years. After that, I moved back to the states, and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting at San Diego State University. I married my wife Alejandra in 2021. I came to Grace Church during COVID, and served in our online pre-recorded worship services that eventually turned into employment at the church in June of 2022.

Current Role: I currently oversee our Worship and Production ministries, while leading worship on the weekends. I absolutely love the simultaneous cohesion and dependence that both ministries must lean on to obtain a better and higher goal than that of our own. I've been honored with the role of leading Grace Church in our Worship Arts. I know the Lord has His hand all over what we get to be a part of, and cannot wait for what's to come.

Hobbies: Swimming, finance, playing sports

Fun Fact: I have a stutter, but it goes away when I sing.
