King Perez grew up in Manila, Philippines. He moved to San Diego in 1997 where he met his wife, Lea Perez. They have been married since 2005. They have two sons, Gavin and Elijah who are in high school and middle school.

King has been attending Grace Church since 2005. He had served at the first impressions ministry and co-facilitated Financial Peace University classes at Grace. He and his wife co-lead a house church. And he is currently part of the Stewardship team.

King has a bachelor’s degree in business accounting from the University of Phoenix. He has over 20 years of experience in financial reporting, financial forecasting and business operations. He is currently working as Financial Controller.

King and his family enjoy travelling and watching movies. In his free time, he plays basketball and enjoys early morning cycling rides.
