Welcome Grace Kids! We are so excited that you are here with us this week. We are continuing in our series called ” Who’s the Church?” This week we are focusing on “Brothers and Sisters”. Why brothers and sisters you ask??? Well, when we choose to follow Jesus, we become part of a huge family, God’s family. He fills us with His love, and He wants us to share it with all of our brothers and sisters.

Before we get started let’s practice our memory verse for the week.

” Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God….” – 1 John 4:7

Now check out what our friends at Konnect HQ have for you.

Before you go, lets review what you learned today.

  1. Who are the “dear friends” in the Bible verse and the “sisters and brothers” in the point?
  2. How good do you think you are at showing God’s love to everyone?
  3. What do you think it would be like if we didn’t share God’s love with anyone?
  4. How is God’s love different from only loving people who love you?
  5. What do you think you can do to make sure other people don’t feel left out?

This week your challenge is to show God’s love to someone.

Have a great week Grace Kids. See you all back here next time.

Welcome Back Grace Kids! I hope you had a fantastic week. This week we are jumping into our new series called “Who’s the Church? Over the past two weeks, everyone at Grace had “church at home”. Do you think you can have church if we are not in the building? Of course we can. In facts we are the Church. Did you know that the church is actually anyone who follows Jesus.

Before we get started on our lesson, lets stand up and worship together.

Our first worship song is from CJ and Friends, ” I have decided”

Our second worship song for today is from Bethel Kids, “You are good”

Great job worshiping. Why do we worship you ask? We worship to thank God for all he has done and to show thankfulness for the sacrifice that Christ died for us. It’s time for our weekly lesson. Tune into Konnect HQ to see our first part of the series, Body of Christ.

When we choose to follow Jesus, we’re part of the body of Christ- God’s Church.

Let’s practice our memory verse from our lesson this week.

1 Corinthians 12:27

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”

Before we go, choose a few review questions to discuss with a family member or friend.

  1. What is another name for the body of Christ?
  2. Who is a part of God’s Church?
  3. In the Bible story, what did people who followed Jesus do to help each other out and keep the church healthy?
  4. What do you think it would be like if everyone in God’s Church did the same job?
  5. What do you think it would be like if everyone in God’s Church decided not to do their special job?

Here is your action steps for this week.

  1. What can you do this week to help out at the church?
  2. What can you do to find out what you’re really good at doing for God’s Church?

Have a great week and we look forward to seeing you back next week.

Hello Grace Kids!

We hope you had a great New Years. Did you do anything fun? This week we are looking at a similar topic as the adults at Grace.

Have you ever felt worried or nervous about something? When we look in the Bible,  we are told in Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.”

With God, we can be set free from anxiety and worry.

Tune in to the video to see how Jesus showed the people not to worry.

Let’s Review!

  1. What did Jesus teach everyone that he encountered?
  2. What did the man in the crowd ask Jesus when he was speaking to the group of people?
  3. Should we share what we have with others?
  4. Where and what is our true treasure?

Great Job Kids! Next week we are jumping into a new series called “The Church”. We look forward to seeing you all very soon.
