Elementary Programming (Oct 24th)

Welcome Back Grace Kids,

This week are are finishing up our series called, “You Scared?” Fear is a part of life. Everyone is afraid sometimes. We will address common fears of kids and how God will help us overcome them.

This week’s theme is “Fear can’t stop me from doing what I need to do.”

Our verse this week is “…God has bot given us a spirit of fear…. but of power, love, and self-discipline.”  2 Timothy 1:7

Tune in to our friends at Konnect HQ to see how God will help deal with our overcoming fear.

Now let’s review.

  1. When do you think feeling afraid is a good thing?
  2. When do you think feeling afraid is a bad thing?
  3. When you’re feeling afraid, how do you think God will help you?
  4. Who can you talk with to get help when you’re feeling afraid?

This week’s challenge:

When you see someone who is feeling afraid, step out, comfort and help them over come being afraid.

Welcome Back Grace Kids!

This month we are continuing with our series called “Let’s Go Hero”. The Bible is full of Heroes.

Monthly Memory Verse:

” I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength.” – Philippians 4:13

This week we are focusing on “I can be a hero like Moses!” Our video will show us how Moses talks to Pharaoh.

Let’s tune into our lesson to see how Moses is a hero.

Let’s review.

  1. What did God tell Moses to say?
  2. Who did God send to rescue the people from Pharaoh?
  3. Did Pharaoh obey and let the people go?

This month we are jumping into a new series called “Let’s Go Hero”. The Bible is full of Heroes.

Monthly Memory Verse:

” I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength.” – Philippians 4:13

This week we are focusing on “I can be a hero like Deborah!” Our video this week will show Deborah leads the way.

Let’s tune into our lesson to see how Deborah is a hero.

Let’s review.

  1. Did a bad king or a good king rule over the Isralites?
  2. Who did God send to help the Israelites defeat the king?
  3. Did Deborah love God and obey him?

This weeks theme is “I can’t do it alone.”

When you are afraid to fail, God will help you.

Our verse this week is “…. the Lord your God….says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”     – Isaiah 41:13

Tune in to our friends at Konnect HQ to see how God will help deal with our fear.

God ask us to do things that are sometime hard. We can be afraid to try and give up, or we can pray to God and try with His help!

Now let’s review.

  1. What are some things you’re afraid you’ll mess up on if you try to do them?
  2. What’s something you’re afraid to try again because you messed up on the first time?
  3. When you ask for God’s help to do something hard, how do you think He might help you?
  4. What’s something God might ask us to do that’s too hard to do without him?

This week’s challenge:

When you see someone who wants to quit trying and gives up, encourage them and help them complete the task.

This week we are learning about the temptation Jesus faced.

We are chosen because God chose us.

How Awesome! God chose you before the world was even made. Now let’s dig a little deeper into what we learned.

  1. What’s the best way to find out the truth about who you are?
  2. In the Bible story, how did Jesus treat Matthew differently?
  3. Do you ever feel like no one wants to choose you? If so , what makes you feel that way?
  4. God chose us to be holy and without fault in His eyes when we follow Jesus. What does that mean to you?
  5. God chose you. What does that make you think about yourself?

Have you ever felt like you didn’t really matter? The truth is that God knows you by name, and He made a way for you to get to know Him. We are famous because God knows us and never forgets us.
