Hey Grace Families!

Today we are going to learn about Heaven! Let’s watch this week’s awesome message.

Konnect HQ:

Let’s Worship God!

Worship Songs:
Here As in Heaven:

Heaven is Our Home:

Activity:
You’ll Need:
1) Heaven Seek and Find Activity Sheet: CLICK HERE
2) Markers or crayons

How To:
Say: Let’s do this seek and find so we can find a few things that are really true about Heaven!
Give each kid a Heaven Seek and Find activity sheet and something to write with.
Kids circle all of the hidden pictures on the sheet.
As kids search, read a Bible verse from the back of the sheet and ask which picture you’re reading about.
Kids guess. When they get it right, read the rest of the picture’s description.
Repeat steps 3-4, choosing pictures to read about in any order you want.
If time allows, kids color the sheet.

Review Questions:
1) Where is our “home yet to come”? Heaven
2) What is our spirit? Our spirit is who we really are. It doesn’t die when our body dies.
3) What is Heaven? A real place where the spirits of everyone who follows Jesus live forever with God
4) When does Heaven become our spirit’s home? When we choose to follow Jesus
5) The Bible doesn’t tell us everything about Heaven. What do you think about that?
6) What do you wish you could know about Heaven?
7) How can knowing Heaven is your true home help you? When bad things happen, you can remember you won’t live here forever—you’ll be in Heaven!
8) Name someone who doesn’t follow Jesus so you can pray for them and show Jesus’ love to them.

Have an awesome week Grace kids!

Hey Grace Kids and Parents!

Today, let’s learn about one of God’s greatest miracles.

Konnect HQ:

Worship Songs:

For Your Glory:

Journey of a Lifetime:

I Believe:

Activity:
You’ll Need:
1. Activity Sheet- ‘Ingredients
2. A Hat
3. Scissors

How To:
1. Create ingredient cards by cutting on the dotted lines of the activity sheet.

2. Say: Let’s show how a baker can take things that are kind of gross on their own and turn them into something tasty!

3. Pass the cards out, face down, to your child(ren), and place the chef’s hat upside down between you.

4. Kids don’t look at their cards.
5. Each kid takes a turn to:
– Flip over their card and show their ingredient(s)
– Describe what it’s like to eat it on its own
– Toss the ingredient(s) into the baker’s hat.
– Say: A baker mixes ingredients to create something great, kind of like how God miraculously works all the bad, good, and just okay things in our lives together for good! What do you think the ingredients in this hat will turn into?

Let kids guess as you shake the hat to “mix” and “bake” the ingredients. Reveal it’s chocolate cake.

If you have time later, bake a chocolate cake yourself!

Talk about it: A baker can turn runny eggs and tasteless flour into something good: a delicious cake. What are some bad things God can turn into something good?

Making a cake can take a long time. God making bad things into something good might take a long time, too. What do you think can help you while you wait?

Review Questions:
1. What do you think a miracle is? Answers will vary. Idea: an unusual or wonderful event caused by the power of God to bring glory to His name.

2. What is a miracle you are praying for right now?

3. If bad things are happening, you’re worried, and you don’t know what to do, what do you think will help you?

4. When you see God work a miracle right away, or if you’re waiting for a miracle, who do you want to talk to about it?

Pray together:
1. Ask kids to share things they’d like to pray about.

2. Pray together!

3. Not sure what to pray? Pray this:God, please help us see the miracles You are working all around us, every day. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Hi Friends!

We are so happy you are here with us today!

Let’s watch today’s lesson video!

Say: Let’s play a game called ‘Sand or Rock!’ When we learn from Jesus and live God’s way, it’s like building a house on a strong rock!

Directions:
1. Take turns with your child(ren) pretending to be the “house.”
2. The “house” stands and everyone else pretends to be thunder, lightning, rain, and wind.
a. If the “house” decides they’re built on a rock, they stay standing and shout, “I’m on a rock!”
b. If the “House” decides they’re built on sand, they fall over and shout, “I’m on sand!”
3. Play as many times as you like, taking turns being the “house.”

Practice answering today’s question and saying the Bible verse together.
An extra coloring sheet is added at the bottom of the page for your enjoyment!

Pray together:

Not sure what to pray about?

Pray Blinky’s Prayer: “Dear God help me learn everything Jesus wants to teach me so my life will be strong! Like a rock, instead of like squishy sand! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
