Tim Scott has been pastoring for almost 40 years. He has been the Lead Pastor at Grace San Diego since 1992. He provides a great blend of serious theological teaching with a slightly quirky sense of humor. His objective is to share the Gospel with those who don’t know Christ and point believers toward an accurate application of God's Word in their daily lives.
Tim & Kimberly Scott have seven children and five grandchildren. Their legacy of expressing God's truth, grace and love has incredible impact on our church community.
Chief Operations Officer
Nolan found Grace through a google search in the Summer of 2013. Nolan has been involved in youth ministry for almost a decade. He has a true passion for seeing youth come to know Christ in a transformational way, and to continue walking alongside of them as they navigate life & faith.
Nolan's primary role is to lead all operations for Grace Church San Diego and thrives when developing our staff and teams as our Chief Operations Officer.
Nolan is a true leader in our church community. He and his wife Brooke, live in Imperial Beach and love serving with our Grace family!
Outreach Pastor / Chief Business Officer
For almost a decade, Scott has recruited, trained and led teams to countries like Mexico, Peru, Malawi, Japan, Haiti and Thailand. As the Outreach Pastor, he has a relentless heart for those who are struggling and wishes to see those who call Grace home, reach out in the community loving others. Scott is also the Executive Director of Project Reach, a community building 501c3 Non-Profit that runs all outreach programs that the Grace Community plugs into.
Scott also manages all business aspects of Grace Church San Diego as the Chief Business Officer.
Scott has been at Grace since August of 2000 and loves to see new people join our "come as you are" culture. Scott, his wife Susan, sons Aden (9), Henri (6) and Maximus (4) are excited to grow alongside this community!
Campus Pastor North Park / Connect Group Pastor
Jesse, his wife Desiree and son Luke first checked out Grace Church San Diego in 2011. They instantly loved the community and mission of the church. Jesse's passion is to see leaders develop and those who feel disconnected from God, fall in love with Jesus all over again. His hope for the Connect Groups Ministry is to develop authentic, safe, life changing, fun and stimulating groups where you can grow in Christ.
Jesse and Desiree now have three children; Luke, Bennett & Bethany and live in La Mesa.

Campus Pastor East
Bob, his wife, Lisa and son, James first came to Grace in 2012 through an invitation by their friend. Bob is passionate about helping others develop their relationship with Jesus Christ and guiding them in their attentiveness to God. He loves that the leadership of Grace is intentional about creating an environment where people can experience God.
Creative Arts Pastor
Matt has been serving in worship ministry for over 15 years. He came to check out grace from a Google search in 2011 and fell in love with the atmosphere of worship he experienced. Matt's passion is to bring people into a close connection with God through music and worship.
Matt and his wife Taryn live in Chula Vista and love to ride motorcycles.
Chelsea is a student at San Diego State University and found Grace through a friend who was involved with the church. Shortly after attending, she fell in love with the community and knew she wanted to call Grace home. Chelsea's heart lies in worship and creating an atmosphere for others to worship and experience God's love through music.
Youth Director - North Park Campus
Stevie found Grace through a post on Facebook in January of 2014. After about 8 months of serving as a volunteer leader with our middle school students, God opened a door for Stevie to join the staff at Grace. He has an eagerness for middle school students to find God, as well as a desire for students to grow and develop as they seek Christ. Stevie’s passion for God and life is infectious and enlivens the Grace community in so many ways.
Stevie also serves as the Director of Outreach for Project Reach, alongside our Outreach Pastor. He has an amazing heart and impact on those struggling on the streets of San Diego. Stevie, his wife Odette and daughter Harlow live near the North Park Campus.
Youth Director - Grace East Campus
Judy was invited to Grace by some friends of hers after being transferred to San Diego in 2012 by the Navy. It was after both laughing and crying throughout the message, that she knew Grace was her church! Judy and her husband, David began serving together in the kids ministry in March of 2013. Later that year, she followed a stirring in her heart to begin serving as a leader to middle and high school students. Her passion for helping students find Christ and develop a relationship with Him led her out of the military and into her role as the Youth Director for Grace East.
First Impressions Director - North Park Campus
Kim has a heart and passion for loving others. She has a diverse background including owning her own company ironically called "First Impressions", which was a home staging and design consulting business. Kim also worked in the Trauma Intervention Program for San Diego County, where she served with first responders, on site, in traumatic situations.
Kim and her husband Joe have been going to Grace for 20 years. Together they have four adult children and six grandchildren. Kim serves as the First Impressions Director at our growing North Park Campus!
First Impressions Director - Grace East Campus
Ronnie first came to Grace in 2005 and knew that he had found his home church. He joined the Army at 21 and was stationed in Missouri, with a deployment to Afghanistan. Having finished his enlistment, he has returned home to San Diego and is now attending Point Loma Nazarene University.
Ronnie serves as the First Impressions Director at our Grace East Campus!
Children's Ministry Director
Jessica, a native San Diegan, began attending Grace with her family in May 2009. Since then God has moved in her life growing her love for his kingdom especially the children. With two young girls of her own, her passion is to deposit the Word of God into the heart of each child here at Grace, fostering their growth in faith and providing the foundation for them to become thriving members of our church body embracing the church’s mission to Worship, Connect, Serve and Reach. Jessica is the director of both Pre-K and the Elementary programs at Grace.
Assistant Children's Director - North Park Campus
Women's Care Pastor
Kimberly and her husband Tim love working side by side to give Grace an example of love and direction. Kimberly’s unusual ability to reach people gives her an impact in counseling within our women's ministry. You can often find her walking on campus with a new friend she just met at a local coffee shop.
Her greatest joy comes from influencing her 7 kids and 5 grandkids to love and serve Jesus.
Angelica came to Grace in 2009 and her heart for people is a beautiful expression of God’s love. With a background in the military and in social services she brings her strong gifting in administration to running our church office. She also loves motivating people to action as she leads the Data Entry Team and oversees the Team Member Breakfast. Her beautiful young son Isaiah Christian, attends Grace Kids Preschool.
Jeff and his wife Rachel moved in San Diego in early 2013 from Indianapolis. He splits his time between his wedding photography company and serving Grace through the tech and creative teams. Jeff's passion is getting to tell people's stories and loves that we can experience God everyday through art and media.
Chase and his family were first introduced to Grace Church San Diego in 2015 by meeting a pastor at the church through a childhood friend. They immediately fell in love with the message of the church and felt welcome. Chase has a background in construction and has a passion for helping anyone in need. Chase and his wife Coty have three children (one on the way) Castle, Oliver, Forrest and (to be announced)! Chase and his Family reside in a small barn that was converted into a home in Alpine.
Grace Kids Preschool Director
Colleen joined the Grace team in 2012 with over 30 years of experience in early education as well as serving the local church with her pastor-husband, Phil. Colleen is passionate about the opportunities of ministry to the community through a preschool outreach. She also shares this passion through seminars and trainings through various organizations. Colleen and Phil are blessed with six amazing grandchildren.

Support & Recovery Pastors
Scott & Lori have faced extreme addiction in their past, bringing them to the lowest of lows. For over 18 years now, they have been walking in freedom and hope through the love of Christ. Scott has a passion for truth and creating an environment of safety so that others can experience authentic change. Lori is a trained and licensed addiction recovery and grief counselor. They are a powerful team used by God to bring restoration and change into the most hopeless situations.
As a vital ministry at Grace Church San Diego, we are so proud to have Scott & Lori Allen lead many to recovery through Jesus Christ!
Ken has been on the ministry team of Grace since 1995. He brings a unique musical talent to our worship and an incredible pastors heart to our pastoral care ministries. Ken has led both the UCSD Gospel Choir and the MLK Choir of San Diego for more than a decade.
Prayer Team Ministry Partner
Shelley is a native of San Diego, and has never lived anywhere else. She was baptized at Grace in 2009, and started out serving on the tech team. Seeing and learning what is possible with God, Shelley loves to encourage others in their journeys of carrying out God's ministry in their lives, and the lives they touch, in order to align with His purpose. Her motto is "keep lookin' up"
Kids With Special Needs Ministry Partner
Amanda and her husband George, have attended Grace since 2004. She is a retired special education teacher and wants to be sure families with children that have special needs find a wonderful place to worship. She wants parents to know that their children are being supported and loved in the program they attend.
